Current Position Openings
Account Manager
Description - The Account Manager (AM) position is an experienced level sales position. The AM is considered an "exempt" employee.
Qualifications - To be qualified for the AM position, the candidate must have the following skills, education, background, and experience:
Skills - The skills needed for the AM position are as follows:
- The ability to make initial customer contact ("cold calls") through various means
- The ability to understand a customer's needs and position appropriate Cedar Path solutions to meet those needs
- The ability to generate a quote using the tools provided by Cedar Path and in the format required by Cedar Path
- The ability to "close" the sale
- The ability to keep accurate records of details and insert them into the Cedar Path workflow system to allow efficient ordering, workflow management, and scheduling
- The ability to formulate and execute regional and national sales strategies to large corporate accounts
- The ability to obtain and maintain company-required sales certifications
Education - The educational requirements for this position are as follows:
- Bachelors Degree or above at an accredited institution of Higher Learning or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience is defined as a minimum of five years of verifiable, relevant sales experience in the same or similar field as a senior-level sales person
Experience - The experience requirements for this position are as follows:
- The AM position requires demonstrated experience in complex sales
- A minimum of $1,000,000 in annual sales must be demonstrated to qualify for the AM position
Performance Criteria - The employee is expected to meet the following performance criteria:
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism with customers and other Cedar path employees
- Perform work to acceptable industry standards
- Maintain a minimum quota set by Cedar Path
- A team effort, can-do attitude

Systems Engineer
Description - Systems Engineer (SE) is an experienced engineering position. This position is salaried and is considered an “exempt" employee.
Qualifications - To be qualified for the SE position, the candidate must have the following skills, education, background, and experience:
Skills - The skills needed for the SE position are as follows:
- The SE is required to have substantial expertise is required in general networking, including LANs, WANs, firewalls, network topologies, and the OSI model and its application to real-world environments
- The SE must have a solid understanding of Windows and Linux-based Server Operating Systems
- The SE should have a strong knowledge of physical security systems
- The SE must be able to convey knowledge to field personnel (installation techs) and is expected to be a resource for less senior individuals
- The SE must have the ability to obtain and maintain specific industry certifications directly related to the SE position as required by Cedar Path
- Bachelors Degree or above at an accredited institution of Higher Learning or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience is defined as a minimum of five years of verifiable, relevant engineering experience.
Education - The educational requirements for this position are as follows:
Personnel Background Check – Cedar Path Solutions Group is engaged in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical security systems. As such, the employees of Cedar Path must have high ethical and moral standards, and must convey a positive, trustworthy attitude to Cedar Path’s customers and potential customers. Cedar Path will take reasonable and prudent steps to ensure that all employees meet these qualification standards.
To be qualified for this position, the candidate must have a clean driving record with no moving violations, DWI/DUI convictions, accidents or other factors which would render the candidate a high risk while operating the company vehicle. Further, the candidate must agree to a background check and drug testing. Should the background check reveal information relating to convictions of a crime, or should the drug test reveal the presence of illegal substances, the candidate may be denied the position or terminated from the position.
Compensation - Compensation is based on a base hourly wage as well as a bonus.
